Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 contains all the important minerals and trace elements that the well-known shrimp species of this region need for their health, well-being and coloring. Cardinal shrimp (Caridia dennerli) breeders use it with great success. This mineral salt promotes microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates. Warning
Shrimp native to Lake Towuti on Sulawesi (eg the freshwater harlequin shrimp - Caridina woltereckae -, or the redbanded shrimp - Caridina striata) are still very difficult to breed in captivity. We therefore returned to the Ancient Lakes of Sulawesi in 2011 (after our first trip in 2008) to take a closer look at the habitat conditions and to take water samples for analysis here.
The results of these analyzes show fundamental differences in the water chemistry of Malili Lakes compared to generally known types of lake water. Here, we had to completely rework the mineral constellation; the result of these efforts is Sulawesi Mineral Salt 8.5

Less picky Sulawesi shrimps like the freshwater cardinal shrimp (Caridina dennerli) can be preserved and reared with positive results with both Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 and Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 . For the more sensitive shrimp, we hope to achieve long-term reproduction through the use of Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 , which is virtually identical to the water chemistry of Lake Towuti.

Add Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 for watering outside your aquarium. It will dissolve almost completely within seconds and the water is ready to use immediately. We recommend that you adjust the temperature of the new water to that of your tank. Also make sure to add any undissolved particles to your tank. Close the container after each use.


Dosage
reverse osmosis water, rain water, fully desalinated water, etc. is remineralized with Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 until it reaches a hardness of about 6 ° dH and / or a conductance of about 270 +/- 40 µS (Mikrosiemens).
