Dieter Vogt described a subspecies of Rasbora from Borneo in 1978. Rasbora urophthalma brigittae , a dedication name in honor of his wife Brigitte. The German name is “mosquito rasbora”.
It's not because the fish are as small as mosquitoes or as red as mosquitoes after a dinner party, but because there were so many mosquitoes at the collection site that fishing became a real pain.
Today the rasbora mosquito is considered a full species of the Boraras and therefore the correct name is Boraras brigittae .
Due to their small mouths, the Bassleer Baby&Nano pellet mics are recommended.
Je suis passé au magasin il y 5 mois et j'en ai acheté 10. Je les ai toujours tous, aucune mortalité, je suis très satisfait ! Ils ont de belles couleurs et ont bien grandi. Je recommande les yeux fermés !!
