Notropis Chrosomus (Rainbow Cyprin)

The Notropis chromomus, also known as the rainbowfish, is a small schooling fish native to North America. Here is some essential information about it:

Morphology

The rainbow mink sports a two-tone coloration, with a body that is primarily blue and pink. Males have a silvery-blue hue enhanced with pink and mauve undertones, while females maintain a golden-brown color with silvery scales. During the breeding season, both sexes turn bright red.
