1) Live animals

The small white stones are clinoptilolite, a component of zeolite. The black flakes or pellets are activated carbon. These two elements capture ammonia, heavy metals, toxins, etc.

The animals fast the day before they leave. They do not eat in order to have an empty stomach and avoid droppings during transport. Manure can create ammonia and endanger animals.
During transport, animals are stressed, their colors are duller. After acclimatization, even a few days, the animals will regain their colors. Please note, Internet photos are sometimes retouched, some animals have intense colors only when they are fresh (reproduction). The photos are, most of the time, that of the most beautiful specimen, dominant or older.

Animals are packed in suitable plastic bags, each bag is lined (a sustainable alternative is under development.). The animals are then placed in an insulated box with a transport heater (in the cold season).
Animals can be packaged in one or more bags depending on the quantity ordered. The insulated boxes are reusable, or you can throw them at a recycling center. The heaters can be disposed of in the household waste after cooling (hardening).

The amount of water is always sufficient for the animals. The price of express delivery is determined by the weight and size of the package. The weight of the water is calculated to offer you an attractive price.

During transport, the water contained in the bags is in motion, The shrimp cannot swim constantly without risking exhaustion, the support wires float in the water and allow the shrimp to hang on. The wires should not be placed in the aquarium.

- Animals without death guarantee: from €19.99 to €25.50 depending on weight (express delivery with crates isotherms and heaters to guarantee a comfortable temperature for the animals).
Please note that the price is indicative and additional costs may be claimed if notified by the carriers. In case of refusal on your part, the order can be withdrawn in store or refunded.

- Animals without death guarantee: from €31.99 to €44.99 depending on weight (express delivery with insulated boxes and heaters to guarantee a comfortable temperature for animals).

- Live animals: shipment of animals only on Monday and Tuesday.

The default relay point is the closest to the address indicated on your order. If you want a particular relay point, specify it in the "remark" section.

To save on delivery costs, separate live animals from other material items into 2 orders.

The delivery of live animals must be made by an approved carrier. UPS has this certification unlike standard delivery services like Bpost.

If you ordered plants, live animals or fragile material, check the status of your order in front of the delivery person. If the animals are dead or your order is damaged, notify the problem on the delivery person's order form. This process facilitates and accelerates reimbursement.

3) Commands

Once shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Then, an email with a tracking number and the delivery company.
You will be able to track your package on the appropriate site.

Sending live animals is not to be taken lightly, the customer is also responsible, he must be present so as not to neglect the animals. The delivery day is clearly defined with UPS. Therefore, no refund of the order will be accepted if the customer was not present.
