Crayfish belonging to the Parastacidae family.

It is native to New Guinea and is also known as "Blue Moon" or "Blue Moon Crayfish". This species is characterized by a brilliant blue color on the carapace and legs, and is often sought after for its attractive appearance.

Cherax boesemani need a well planted aquarium with proper water parameters like water temperature 22-28 degrees Celsius, pH 6.5-7.5 and water hardness from 3 to 8 dGH.

Cherax boesemani shrimps are omnivorous and feed mainly on plant leaves and plant debris, live food, fish carcasses. It is important to note that they can become aggressive towards other inhabitants of the aquarium. If they are maintained in an aquarium of less than 120 liters it is preferable to maintain them in specific (minimum 80 liters)
